He is charged with assault, along with weapons violations and kidnapping.

Rapper Never Broke Again Youngboy has reportedly been arrested over an outstanding warrant for charges that include kidnapping and assault.

The 19-year-old star, who has previously collaborated with 21 Savage, was detained by police as he prepared to play a show at a nightclub in Tallahassee, Florida.

According to the Sheriff’s Office in Leon County, Florida, the star is charged with allegedly committing an act of assault, along with weapons violations and kidnapping.

The specific details of each charge are yet to be fully revealed.

“Our understanding is he was arrested by the US Marshall’s on an outstanding warrant from Georgia, at approximately 1am”, said a spokesperson for The Moon nightclub where he was scheduled to perform.

The rapper was previously sentenced to ten years behind bars in August 2017 after he pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault with a firearm.

He was initially charged charged with attempted first-degree murder over his involvement with a drive-by shooting  in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on November 2, 2016.

His sentence was ultimately suspended and he was placed on active supervised probation for three years. It is believed that his latest arrest could potentially be a violation of his probation.

The rapper, who is signed to Atlantic Records, has released ten mixtapes since 2015 – with the latest coming in the form of 2017’s Fed Baby’s, which reached No.21 on the US charts.
