The Great Escape has added over 80 new and rising artists to their 2018 line-up – as well as announcing its own new mini festival on Brighton Beach.
Joining the huge bill for the legendary new music showcase are the likes of Tom Grennan, Japanese Breakfast, Superorganism, Tom Walker, Fanny Andersen and many more.

Many of the new additions and those already announced were listed among The NME 100 of the best new artists to keep an eye on in 2018. As well as hailing the “freaky synthpop that balances OTT samples with blasé vocals” of Superorganism, we also tipped singer-songwriter Tom Grennan – who has already received praise from Dave Grohl and announced a huge show at O2 Academy Brixton.
While Japanese Breakfast received huge acclaim for their second album ‘Soft Sounds From Another Planet’, Fanny Andersen is tipped to follow in similar footsteps to fellow Norwegian Sigrid.
“[This is] electro-pop that lures you in with its slick charm, before the countless hooks and the magnetism of her performance entrap you in dance,” wrote NME after catching Andersen at Vill Vill Vest last year. “Expect her to be bothering the charts over here in no time.”
