Dizzee Rascal heads to Paris in the video for ‘Ghost’

Dizzee Rascal has shared a new video for his track ‘Ghost’.

The track appeared on his latest album ‘Raskit‘, which was released last year. In a four-star review, NME wrote: “[Dizzee] hasn’t sounded this vital in years.”

The video, which was directed by Laura Weaver and produced by Dan Farber and Dizzee, sees the grime star head to Paris. He raps between shots of three women playing around in the city, and in a fancy hotel room.

Late last year, the BBC were forced to apologise after Dizzee forgot to censor his lyrics in a pre-watershed live performance.

The rapper was performing recent single ‘Bop N Keep It Dippin’ on BBC 1’s Sounds Like Friday Night when he let out a “motherfucker” as well as a number of other expletives, shocking some viewers.

Host Greg James joined Dizzee on stage after his performance, offering an apology for the outbursts. “A quick apology if anyone was offended by any of the language there,” Greg said. “It’s one of those live TV moments. What are you gonna do? “It was live, man,” agreed Dizzee.

The star is due to appear at Manchester’s Bass Jam on May 27, while he will headline NASS near Bristol between July 5-8, and Clapham’s South West Four over the weekend of August 26-27.
