The DC Extended Universe is a tricky place. While it’s hard high moments with Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman, the development of its blockbusters always seems to be a bit rocky. The DCEU had seen quite a few directors unceremoniously depart projects, after their announcement made serious news. There’s no better example of this than the long gestating Flashpoint movie, which has already seen two different come and go. The studio seems to be hoping the third time is the charm, as directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have been in talks to take on the project. Now it looks like it’s actually happening, as Daley tweeted a not so thinly veiled confirmation on Twitter today. Check out his post below.
