FYF Festival has unveiled its massive 2018 line-up – with Florence + The Machine, Janet Jackson and The xx leading the first announcement. Check out the full line-up below.
The Los Angeles two-dayer is set to take place at the city’s Exposition Park July 21-22.
Headliners Janet Jackson and Florence + The Machine will be joined by the likes of The xx, St Vincent, My Bloody Valentine, Future, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Skepta and Glassjaw.
“In the past 15 years, this festival has grown immensely with a strong team of women and men behind it to bring fans the best weekend of summer,” booker Jennifer Yacoubian says of this year’s bill. “And with incredible artists like Janet Jackson and Florence + The Machine topping this year’s bill, we are so psyched to have two badass women leading the roster as we head into FYF Fest 2018.”
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Florence + The Machine are readying a new single to release on Record Store Day next month. The track, called ‘Sky Full Of Song’, appeared on the Dutch Record Store Day website, before being quickly taken down. According to the site, it will be available in clear vinyl.
Having released their acclaimed third record ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’ in 2015, the band’s last major shows were in 2016 – including a date at Hyde Park’s British Summer Time.
Janet Jackson is also scheduled to join The Killers and The Weeknd as a headliner at New York City’s Panorama festival.
