Comey, who is undertaking a national book tour, will be a guest on April 17.
Former FBI director James Comey is set to make an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Host Stephen Colbert made the announcement on Twitter and revealed that Comey will be a guest on April 17 episode of the show.
The interview comes at a time the Mueller inquiry, triggered by President Donald Trump firing Comey last February, steps into gear.
Comey will be hard to miss in April as he undertakes a national book tour in support of his hotly anticipated autobiography A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership due for release on the same day as his Late Show appearance. He is also slated to appear on ABC prime-time special on April 15.
