Panels for Showtime and ‘Brockmire’ have also joined the schedule for the June event in Austin.
The ATX Television Festival continues to add to its schedule.
The seventh annual Austin event added panels with the creators of The Good Wife spinoff The Good Fight as well as a session with the women of Showtime and events for IFC’s Brockmire and OWN’s upcoming Love Is.
Robert and Michelle King will make their ATX debut with a Q&A about their lineup of shows past and present, including The Good Wife and The Good Fight — while also joining other previously announced conversations. Showtime’s event — Storytelling With Tenacity — will feature SMILF star/exec producer Frankie Shaw, The Affair showrunner Sarah Treem and Shameless star/director Emmy Rossum. IFC will screen the season two finale of Brockmire, followed by a Q&A with star Hank Azaria, writer/exec producer Joel Chruch-Cooper and co-star Tyrel Jackson Williams. OWN’s session for Queen Sugar will feature stars Rutina Wesley, Dawn-Lyen Gardner and Kofi Siriboe. The cabler will also screen Love Is followed by a conversation with creators/exec producers Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil and stars Will Catlett and Michele Weaver.
Those join a lineup at the June 7-10 television festival in Austin that includes an opening night screening of HBO’s Sharp Objects and panels featuring David Simon, a Nash Bridges writers room reunion, a thirtysomething reunion, Queen Sugar, American Woman, The Bold Type, Drunk History and Take My Wife, among others.
