Zach Woods joined Thomas Middleditch in a live performance of the famous theme song.
The cast of HBO’s Silicon Valley sat down with The Hollywood Reporter for this week’s cover shoot, full of musical moments and improv. Thomas Middleditch, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani and Martin Starr kept the laughs rolling throughout introductions and THR’s “How Well Do You Know Your Castmates” game.
After Middleditch and Nanjiani poked fun at Starr for getting an invitation to the premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, they tried their best to nail their opening for “How Well Do You Know Your Castmates,” which soon turned into a Dawson’s Creek theme song sing-along for Woods and Middleditch.
“So you guys were on Dawson’s Creek?” Nanjiani asked.
“Dawson’s Creek was recorded, but the opening song was always live for every episode, and that was us,” Woods quipped back.
The cast of Silicon Valley are promoting the fifth season of the HBO show, which is set to premiere on Sunday, March 25.
