Eddie Redmayne arrives at the funeral of Stephen Hawking on Saturday (March 31) at Great St. Mary’s Church in Cambridge, England.
The 36-year-old Oscar-winning actor was joined by her The Theory of Everything co-star Felicity Jones and her fiance Charles Guard.
Eddie won the Academy Award for playing Hawking in the 2014 film. In a statement after the physicist’s death on March 14, he said, “We have lost a truly beautiful mind, an astonishing scientist and the funniest man I have ever had the pleasure to meet. My love and thoughts are with his extraordinary family.”
During the service, Eddie was one of the speakers. He did a reading from Ecclesiastes.
