2017 was a packed year for Diana of Themyscira, as we watched her origin story unfold in Wonder Woman and saw her join forces with Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg to defeat Steppenwolf in Justice League. The Amazon heroine’s next cinematic appearance will be in Wonder Woman 2, which like its predecessor, will be set decades before Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Earlier this week, it was reported that Cheetah will be Wonder Woman 2‘s main villain, and now it’s coming in that Saturday Night Live alum Kristen Wiig is being sought after for the role.
