It’s for a comedy inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic tale
Patrick Stump is to compose the score for a new film adaptation of Alice In Wonderland.
The Fall Out Boy frontman will write the music for the short movie called Wonderland, which is “a comedy inspired by the classic story of Alice in Wonderland” that offers a “distinctive, funny and touching take on being women in the Hollywood film industry.”
Stump has previously worked on the music for Gnome Alone and Changeland. He also contributed to a song on Lego Batman.
In other Fall Out Boy news, bassist Pete Wentz has named his child Marvel Jane Wentz after comic book publisher and film giant, Marvel.
Wentz spoke to NME in April about the band’s forthcoming headline slot at Reading & Leeds Festival: “We’ve co-headlined before, but we played second to last.
“It’s just been a cool, real build for us over the years. It just means so much more, because we’ve done some of the other slots – we’re pretty psyched.”
Also topping the bill at the festival this summer is Kendrick Lamar, Panic! At The Disco and Kings Of Leon.
