The Beatle will promote his latest solo LP ‘Egypt Station’ with his first live UK dates in over three years

Sir Paul McCartney has announced three live UK shows as part of his ‘Freshen Up’ 2018 tour – check out details of the gigs below.

The legendary Beatle will resume touring later this year in support of his upcoming seventeenth solo album ‘Egypt Station’, which is set for release on September 7.

After announcing live dates in Canada earlier this week, McCartney has now released details of his first live UK dates in over three years. The ‘Freshen Up’ tour – which McCartney has previously explained refers to “freshening up our show and playing some of our songs from the new album alongside those songs we know you like to hear” – will visit Liverpool, Glasgow and London in December.

Speaking about the UK gigs, McCartney said: “There’s nothing like performing in front of your home crowd, especially when it’s been a while. I can’t wait to finish the year on such a high by partying in Liverpool, Glasgow and London.  We’ve freshened up the show since our last time round and we are excited to get to play some of our new songs along side some of the favourites.”
