Star Shaped Festival returns with another ’90s AF Britpop line-up

“The home of Britpop”

Star Shaped Festival have announced their line-up for 2018, celebrating what they call ‘the best of Britpop’.

Last year, the festival saw Sleeper reunite for their first gig in 19 years – playing alongside the likes of The Bluetones, Space, Dodgy, My Life Story and Salad.

As well as promising ‘exhibitions, visuals and lots of other surprises’, the festival promises “no tents, no overpriced food, no need to fund a whole weekends worth of drinking, just one perfect day/night. No being miles away from the bands, watching them on a little screen and having the sound blown around everywhere, just great a venue, great bands, great atmosphere, and great DJs.”

Now, with all-dayers announced in London, Glasgow and Manchester, another ’90s celebration of three different line-ups has been announced. Check out the full line-up below, and visit here for tickets and information.

Black Grape frontman Shaun Ryder made headlines earlier this year when he ‘saved the life’ of former Catchphrase host Roy Walker.

Both stars appeared on ITV’s 100 Years Younger in 21 Days, a show that follows a group of celebrities undergoing a series of physical activities in an attempt to roll back the years. Another episode of the show saw Ryder get an enema.

Walker’s representative said: “He says he’s eternally grateful to Shaun and has made a lifelong friend – a longer life than he would have had otherwise!”
