Events took place in Sheffield, Berlin and more
Hundreds of Kate Bush fans gathered across the world to recreate her ‘Wuthering Heights’ video in celebration of the song’s 40th birthday.
The track is taken from her 1978 album The Kick Inside, with the video showing Bush dancing in an iconic red dress.
‘The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever’ is an event organised by fans of the singer and saw hundreds of them dress up as Bush and recreate the choreography across the world. Events took place yesterday (July 14) in Sheffield, Berlin, Melbourne, San Francisco, Sydney, Gothenburg, Dublin and more.
You can see the original video below as well as footage and photos from the events across the world.

Speaking to the BBC, Sheffield’s event organiser Linda Ball said: “It was a tremendous day. There was a lot of drama and expressive moves,” she added. “We had professional dancers at the front doing the routine although there were a lot of hardcore fans who clearly knew the moves anyway.”
“It’s never been done before in the north of England so I thought wow, if we could pull this off and do it, what a memorable thing to be a part of.
“We wanted it to be inclusive and it was. There were men, women and children are joining in. It was fabulous.”
Earlier this year, it was reported that Kate Bush will pay tribute to Emily Brontë with a new literary piece, released 40 years after her Brontë-inspired ‘Wuthering Heights’.
The music icon was commissioned along with poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy, Scottish national poet Jackie Kay and novelist Jeanette Winterson to create a piece of poetry or prose about one of the Brontë sisters for an inscription.
The project was commissioned by Bradford literature festival, with the work of the contributors to be engraved on stones that will be placed across the route between the sisters’ birthplace in Thornton and the Brontë family home/parsonage in Haworth, Yorkshire.
