Shawn Mendes walked away with four MMVAs on Aug. 26 on a night of glittering performances from stars like Halsey and Meghan Trainor.
Halsey, 23, was on fire. Meghan Trainor, 24, was at her best, giving an amazing performance. But the iHeartRadio MMVAs 2018 on Aug. 23 were all about Shawn Mendes. The 20-year-old heartthrob scored a massive FOUR awards on Canada’s big music night. Yes, one, two, three, four! He won Fan Fave Video, Fan Fave Artist, Best Pop Artist and Artist of the Year. Shawn also opened and closed the show with two fabulous performances, ending on a high with his smash hit, “In My Blood.”
But it wasn’t all about Shawn. He did leave some awards for his peers. Even before the show kicked off Halsey won the Artist for Change title. And Ed Sheeran, 27, won an MMVA for Single of the Year. Here’s the full list of the night’s winners:
