It’ll be the second track taken from the new album
It looks like The 1975 will be releasing a new single next week, after sending out a promotional note.
It states that ‘On 15 August The 1975 release ‘TooTimeTooTimeTooTime”. It adds that ”TooTimeTooTimeTooTime’ is the second single from The 1975’s forthcoming third album ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’.
The note also features the lyrics to the song, which you can see below.
You wet my eyes
But I don’t mind it
I tell you lies
But it’s only sometimes
You pick a fight
And I’ll define it
I swear that I only called her one time
Maybe it was two times?
I don’t think it was three times
It can’t be more than four times
I think we need to rewind
You text that boy sometimes!
Must be more than three times!
I didn’t mean to too time you
She said that I should of liked it
I told her
‘I only use it sometimes’
Except when I need reminding
I’m petrified
I swear that I only called her one time
Maybe it was two times?
I don’t think it was three times
It can’t be more than four times
I think we need to rewind
You text that boy sometimes!
Must be more than three times!
I didn’t mean to too time you

While The 1975 are stating this to be the second single from the album, they have already released two tracks from the new album – ‘Love It If We Made It‘ and ‘Give Yourself A Try‘.
Last month, Matt Healy opened up about his struggles with addiction and praised Kanye West’s latest album.
Healy checked into rehab to battle a heroin addiction as touring concluded for their last album. Speaking of their Latitude headline set last year, Healy told The Guardian: “That’s where it all kicked off. It should have been a massive celebration. And it was for me, but it wasn’t for everyone else.
“I had just got back to the UK and everyone knew the first thing I was going to do.” Speaking of West’s track ‘I Thought About Killing You,’ Healy said: “I know what it’s like to be mental and I don’t believe he’s going to kill Kim Kardashian.”
