Footage of Josh Homme joining the mosh pit during The Distillers‘ Los Angeles show last weekend has emerged.

The recently reunited punk band, led by Brody Dalle, were performing at The Hollywood Palladium on Saturday night (September 15) when Homme decided to get involved with the action. Homme and Dalle are married.

One Instagram user captured footage of the Queens Of The Stone Age frontman in the thick of a gentle circle pit during the song ‘City Of Angels’. Watch their footage below.

After the show, Dalle posted a photo of the venue on her Instagram page and wrote: “Tonight was magical, it was beyond our wildest dreams… the people who flew from hungry, Norway, Australia and everywhere else THANK YOU, we love you. To our fans, We are seriously humbled. We love you.”

The band are currently on a short tour of dates in the west of America. The run concludes on Thursday (September 20) in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, The Distillers released their first new music in 15 years last week (September 12). ‘Man vs Magnet’ and ‘Blood In Gutters’ are the first tracks to follow their 2003 album ‘Coral Fang’, which celebrates its 15th anniversary next month.

Homme recently discussed how he first met Dalle, calling her his “punk-rock dream girl”. “I met Brody when she was 17 and I was 23. It was her first day in the US after relocating from Melbourne and I was playing guitar in the Screaming Trees. She came up to me backstage and asked if I was in Kyuss. We talked for an hour and a half and I never forgot her,” he said.
