The clip is coming soon
Ariana Grande has given fans another hint at what to expect from her forthcoming ‘Thank U, Next’ video, teasing another movie reference on her Twitter account.
The pop star has recently shared images of her dressed as iconic movie characters, including Regina George from Mean Girls and Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. Reese Witherspoon, who played the latter role, responded to Grande’s post with a quote from the movie.
Earlier today (November 21), the singer shared a photo of her dressed as Eliza Dushku’s Missy Pantone from ’00s cheerleading movie Bring It On, with the caption: “I transferred from Los Angeles, your school has no gymnastics team this issaa last resort …….. ok i’ve never cheered before so what.”

Despite her hints, Grande warned fans they would have to wait a little longer to see the full video. “just know it’s not coming this weekend yet and I’ll tell u more things,” she wrote.

Grande shared ‘Thank U, Next’ earlier this month, referencing some of her ex-boyfriends in the lyrics to the first verse. The song has since become the fastest ever song to reach over 100 million streams on Spotify, taking only 11 days to achieve the milestone.
Meanwhile, the star has also called out Piers Morgan for slut-shaming Little Mix after he criticised them for “using” nudity “to sell records”.
“i look forward to the day you realise there are other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticise young, beautiful, successful women for everything they do,” Grande wrote. “i think that’ll be a beautiful thing for you and your career or what’s left of it.”
