From a project being referred to as ‘The Heartbreak Era’
Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus are teasing a much-hyped collaboration, with a snippet of music emerging via Twitter.
The project is currently being referred to as ‘The Heartbreak Era’, with Ronson sharing footage of a disco ball shaped like a broken heart. Alongside the video he asked the question, ‘#featuringwho?’, and promised that The Heartbreak Era is coming ‘sooner than u think’.

Rumours of live TV performances were fuelled when the synopsis for an upcoming episode of The BBC’s The Graham Norton Show seemed to promise an appearance from the pair.
The mention of Cyrus and Ronson has since been deleted, but can still be seen when googling the episode, as above.
The news of their collaboration was first reported in May when a studio video proved that the two were working together on music then referred to as “heartbreaking.”
The two subsequently sung each other’s praises on social media. “jesus. miley cyrus can sang,” Ronson said. Cyrus then responded to the tweet with a series of heart and flame emojis.
Ronson was most recently seen as one half of Silk City, his project with fellow mega-producer Diplo. They released their fourth single ‘Electricity’, which featured Dua Lipa in September, and headlined this summer’s Bestival.
Cyrus, meanwhile, is reportedly on set shooting an episode of the new series of Black Mirror.
