Next year’s festivals will take place from August 23-25, 2019

Reading & Leeds have announced The 1975, Post Malone, Twenty One Pilots and Foo Fighters as the headliners for their 2019 festivals.

Next year’s festivals will take place from August 23-25, 2019, with the two sites’ traditional venues of Richfield Avenue (Reading) and Bramham Park (Leeds) being retained once again.

The four headliners for Reading & Leeds 2019 were revealed this morning (November 21) by Greg James on BBC Radio 1. Foo Fighters were headline the festivals for the fourth time (following top slots in 2002, 2005 and 2012), while The 1975, Post Malone and Twenty One Pilots will all top the bill at Reading & Leeds for the first time in their respective careers in 2019.

As well as the four aforementioned headliners, the full bill across the festivals’ numerous stages will be unveiled by Annie Mac on her Radio 1 show this evening at 7pm.

You can buy tickets for next year’s festivals when they go back on sale on Friday (November 23) at 9am: you can grab your tickets for Reading here, and for Leeds here.
