Check out Big Narstie’s alternative Christmas message

“Pray for the homeless”

Big Narstie has delivered a Christmas message that touches upon humour, death, and charity.

The rapper, whose real name Tyrone Lindo, appeared as a guest on ITV’s Good Morning Britain today (December 21). He took a moment to say a few words about Christmas while dressed as a king.

“RIP Joe, RIP Tommy…pray for the homeless, pray for those who don’t have many”, Narstie broadcasts from his throne in the ITV studio.

At the end of the clip he rolls his tongue and gets a giggle off-camera from one of the show’s host.

Elsewhere in the programme, Narstie had viewers laughing when he walked in front of the camera and blocked out Ben Shephard as the presenters tried to say goodbye to viewers.

Viewers commented on social media that the rapper had them howling, with some commenting his appearance was the “best thing” they’d seen on the morning TV show.

Big Narstie presents his own chat show alongside comedian Mo Gilligan called The Big Narstie Show.

Speaking to NME about the programme, which last aired in August, the rapper said it’s “the most chillest thing on TV.”

He added that it has, “A lot of fucked up shit and a lot of real, genuine urban life. I’m not from a conventional world, innit? So the fact that I’m getting a chance to express my world in society and TV is epic.”
