Watch Cardi B get extravagant in her striking new video for ‘Money’

One of Cardi’s countless accessories include a hat made entirely of expensive watches.

Cardi B has dropped her striking new video for ‘Money‘, in which she pole dances, plays the piano naked and appears to breastfeed her baby ‘Kulture’.

‘Money’ was released in October. It was Cardi’s first release since her debut album ‘Invasion of Privacy‘.

The rapper has been teasing images from the video shoot on Instagram for months but finally dropped the full video today (December 21). Watch the video below.

The extravagant visuals see a group of sharp tuxedo-wearing women pull off a bank heist, only to open the vault and find a golden, rotating Cardi B within.

Money is the co-star in the video, in the lavish settings, the countless, elaborate costumes – including a headdress made entirely of extravagant watches. At one point, a woman fires streams of bank notes into the air for fun.

Perhaps the most visually striking images are those that capture Cardi appearing to breastfeed a baby – possibly her daughter ‘Kulture’ – while ferociously rapping “I got a baby, I need some money.”

Cardi had teased new music in August, saying she wanted to release a new project on September 1.

“There’s about five songs that I was supposed to put on ‘Invasion Of Privacy’ but they didn’t fit and make sense,” she said in an Instagram Live video. “So I’m gonna put it on this project that I really want to put out on September 1, but I’m missing like four or five songs.”

The project didn’t materialise, with the rapper warning in the initial video that it could end up being delayed due to her workload.

Cardi and her ex Migos‘ Offset were recently the focus of media attention after Offset pleaded with the ‘Bodak Yellow’ artist to take him back during her set at LA’s Rolling Loud festival.

She later called on fans to stop “bashing” Offset online, saying that “it doesn’t make me feel any better”.
