He repeats the phrase ‘all God’s country’ in the chorus.
Father John Misty debuted a new song during a benefit concert for the California Wildfires earlier this week.
The ‘Gods Favourite Customer’ star is yet to officially name the track, but the performance saw him repeating the phrase “all God’s Country” in the chorus. You can view the performance in full below.
The same show also saw the singer joining forces with teamed up with Beck and Este Haim for a performance of Beck’s track ‘Where It’s At’. Misty was behind the drumkit for the performance, while Este Haim played bass.

Last month, he debuted an unlikely cover of Coldplay’s ‘Clocks’ while on tour in Europe.
Misty ended his 21-song set in Borgerhout, Belgium last night (November 1) with a brief rendition of ‘Clocks’. As his backing band played the track’s introduction, Misty then joined in on vocals for the verse – but, instead of singing Chris Martin’s actual vocal parts, he decided to melodically scat his way through the cover instead.
It comes after he released fourth album ‘Gods Favourite Customer’ earlier this year.
In a four star review, NME wrote: “It’s a record riddled with questions, while refusing to offer answers. In remaining tight-lipped, this taciturn new aspect to Father John Misty might be his most genuinely sincere, and his most profound.”
