Plain White Ts and more names added to Slam Dunk 2019 line-up

More names joining All Time Low and New Found Glory this May

Plain White T’s, Hellogoodbye, and more have been added to the 2019 Slam Dunk Festival line-up. Check out the full announcement of new artists below.

The dual event, which will be headlined by All Time Low, is due take place in May at Temple Newsam Estate in Leeds – before heading down south to Hatfield Park.

Now, it’s been announced that Illinois indie outfit Plain White T’s will be performing at the festival – marking their first Slam Dunk appearance. The group will be showcasing material from their 2018 album, ‘Parallel Universe’.

Hellogoodbye, who released their fourth record ‘S’Only Natural’ last October, have also been added to the bill – along with Touche Amore, Lights, Tigers Jaw, and Microwave.

Hellogoodbye’s Forrest Klein said: “Hellogoodbye has seen (and self-inflicted) countless changes between Slam Dunk visits in 2006,
2011, and now 2019; but I’ve got no doubt SDF will remain comfortingly the same: AN ABSOLUTE FUCKING TREAT.”

Also joining the line-up are Wallflower, Wage War, Employed To Serve, and Our Hollow Our Home.

Previously announced acts include Bullet For My Valentine, NOFX, New Found Glory, and Mad Caddies. The weekend will also welcome the highly-anticipated return of UK punk outfit Gallows.

Ahead of last year’s initial line-up news, it was announced that Slam Dunk would not be returning to Birmingham in 2019 – much to fans’ upset.

“Going forward, we have two large outdoor sites where we have much more flexibility to deliver what you want,” organisers said. “Unfortunately this means we are unable to run a third day, so Slam Dunk Festival Midlands will not be happening in 2019.”

Slam Dunk Festival 2019 will take place May 25 – May 26, 2019.
