The musician is set to release three albums this year
Ryan Adams has announced a new UK and Ireland tour for 2019.
The musician has confirmed he will release three albums this year, with the first – ‘Big Colours’ – arriving on April 19.
Fans will get a chance to hear material from the record before its release as Adams returns to the UK and Ireland in March and April. “I’m bringing #BigColours to the UK this spring,” he wrote on Twitter. “Dance Partay!”

Adams has already shared two songs from ‘Big Colours’ so far – the Americana of ‘Doylestown Girl’ and the Johnny Marr-esque ‘Manchester’. Of the latter, the singer-songwriter said: “Manchester, the city and music of this mystical place shaped my entire life. It is at the heart of all the things I love about music from The Smiths, Joy Division, Oasis, New Order, Simply Red and The Stone Roses.”
Two more albums will also be released before the end of 2019. One will be titled ‘Wednesdays’, while details about the third are still under wraps.
