If you were watching the Super Bowl and saw MVP Julian Edelman with his big bushy beard, you might be wondering, when will he shave it off?!
The 32-year-old New England Patriots wide receiver is known for not shaving his facial hair during the NFL’s playoff period until his team either wins the Super Bowl or loses in an earlier game.
In a recent interview, Julian joked that despite the cold weather he often plays in, “the beard does keep my face a little warmer. I guess it does help.”
While talking to the press before the Super Bowl, Julian was asked about his beard and he jokingly said he shaved two days ago and that “it just grows back.”
When asked if he’ll shave if the Patriots win, he replied, “I gotchu.”
