Blink 182 and All Time Low supergroup Simple Creatures announce debut London show

The duo are set to hit the stage in London this spring

Simple Creatures, the supergroup featuring members of Blink-182 and All Time Low, have announced a debut UK live date. See details below.

Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus and ATL’s Alex Gaskarth shared their latest track ‘Strange Love’ last month. The title track from their upcoming debut EP followed the first single, ‘Drug‘.

Now, the duo have announced a string of live shows surrounding the March 29 release of their ‘Strange Love’ collection.

After playing four US dates, kicking off on March 28 in Los Angeles, Simple Creatures’ run will conclude with their first UK performance. The band will take to the stage at London’s Hangar venue on April 3.

Tickets will go on sale at 9 am this Friday (March 15). See the full list of dates below.

“’Strange Love’ is the first glimpse into the Simple Creatures universe,” Hoppus said of the EP in a press release. “Cooked up in studios and basements around Los Angeles, we set out to push ourselves in musical directions that are new and exciting to us. Embracing new recording techniques and processes, we broke songs down to their barest bones and rebuilt them into musical Frankenstein monsters.”

Meanwhile, Blink-182’s Travis Barker has shared an update on when to expect the band’s new album.

“It will definitely be out before the Warped Tour [June 29-30],” the drummer said. “I think we’ll be wrapped up right after the time we play Back To The Beach.”

Offering details on what to expect from the group’s eighth studio LP, Barker explained that “literally anything goes”. “I think we’re creating one of the most important Blink albums, so I’m really proud of it,” he added.

Last month, the musician said that the forthcoming “experimental” record is similar to their 2003 self-titled effort. “I feel like this is the closest we’ve come to something like Blink-182 since that album, which is one of my favorite Blink albums by far.”
