A mansion formerly belonging to Marilyn Manson has been put on the market.
The $1,995,000 (approximately £1,518,973) property in San Marco Dr, Los Angeles, is being advertised by real estate website Zillow. Curbed LA has reported that Manson owned the house from the late 1990s to 2004.
Zillow describes the 1,905 square ft house as “one of the most unique properties in the history of the Hollywood Hills” that is in “need of full restoration” as “the perfect upside project”.
The three-story walled and gated estate was built in 1925 and is situated on three separate lots.
Zillow’s description continued: “Romantic spiral staircases, grand living room, original touches, decks on every level, and mystery around every corner. The vast multi-lot includes a 2-story guest house with a wall of windows overlooking a fern grotto with koi pond and naturally fed stream. Relax by the crystal blue pool or meander the trails of the lush and private grounds. Bring walking shoes! Steeped in Hollywood History and folklore.”
In other news, Manson this week joined Limp Bizkit to cover Nirvana for a special Bizkit show with the band’s original line-up.
The band’s $3 dollar show at Los Angeles’ The Troubadour venue saw Fred Durst, Wes Borland, DJ Lethal, John Otto, and Sam Rivers play together for the first time since 2012. Manson joined the band to perform a cover of Nirvana’s ‘Heart-Shaped Box’, while Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan watched on.
