Ahead of his performance, the singer teased that he was going to put on an unforgettable show.
Before commanding the stage, Lil Nas X shut down the red carpet with two eye-catching ensembles. For his first look, he wore an over-the-top gown by Andrea Grossi that featured a one-of-a-kind print. He later switched things up and donned an embellished floral power suit by Richard Quinn.
It’s no secret the pop star is having an incredible year. Back in September, he told E! News that being hunkered down at home amid the coronavirus pandemic was a great creative outlet for him.
“Quarantine has probably been the best thing that could have happened to me to where I am in my career right now,” he said at the time. “It’s given me so much time to think through while creating music.”
He added, “I know what I put out next people are going to love…I’m just confident in what I’ve been working on.”
