Boyd said that while this may be the end of their romantic relationship, he’ll always consider Flagg part of his family.
“Joshua, I love you,” he added, “and wish you nothing but love and absolute happiness.”
As for the reasoning behind their split, a source close to Flagg told E! News that it was simply because they “are different people who want different things from life.”
“Opposites attract, and with Bobby and Josh being so different, it definitely worked, until it didn’t anymore,” the source said. “Although they’re on diverging paths, the two of them still have a great deal of respect for each other.”
The source also shared that Josh has been receiving “a lot of support” from his friend Sonja Morgan. The Real Housewives of New York City star has been “regularly checking in on him and making sure he still puts a smile on his face,” the insider said.
Meanwhile, a source close to Boyd told E! News that Flagg’s ex is “doing the best he can.”
Following Flagg’s statement, his Bravo castmates joined the comments of his post to show their support. Heather Altman commented, “I love you both so much and have tremendous respect for you both [heart emoji].”
“So so so sorry to hear this guys,” Matt Altman added. “You are both amazing people.”
And Tracy Tutor wrote, “I love you both.”
