Miley’s nomination comes months after she won her first two Grammys nearly 20 years after beginning her music career. Following the win, she questioned the decadeslong wait, asking W Magazine in June, “No shade, but I’ve been doing this for 20 years, and this is my first time actually being taken seriously at the Grammys?”
