“We have to put all that aside,” Gypsy said of online public opinions regarding her family, “and really hone in on that family dynamic. Know that, ‘Hey, it’s not just you and me.’”
“We have a child to protect,” she continued, “and trying to navigate our choices of parenthood on top of the stress of the public eye.”
And even though she is only a few months into motherhood, the 33-year-old has already faced some challenges and set firm boundaries for the good of her family.
“For the first few weeks after she was born, the public was trying to get a photo of her by any means,” Gypsy recalled, “and we are not posting her face on social media. We said that a long time ago and so. A lot of people were like, ‘Okay show her, show her.’ No, I’m the mother and y’all should respect the decision that we don’t want to.”
