Whoopi Goldberg has had enough of Bennifer.
The TV host could hardly contain her boredom while introducing a segment about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez‘s divorce on the March 27 episode of The View, barely taking a breath or changing her intonation as she read from a notecard.
Her unamused, lengthy spiel led Joy Behar to proclaim that “this intro is like a mini-series.”
“You had to sneak it in,” Whoopi responded before letting out an exaggerated sigh. “You know I would never do this.”
But it was when Sunny Hostin declared that “this was supposed to be true love between Ben and J.Lo” that the Color Purple actress really let her feelings be known.
“No you said it was true love!” she shot back. “You’re the only one who believed that.”
Joy concurred, telling Sunny that she’s “the only one who said that” before the lawyer maintained her stance, saying, “I think maybe there was true love and just something happened.”
The comedian responded with an “oh, please!” as Whoopi started to dramatically collapse onto the table out of exasperation as the audience started to laugh.
