Hannah Campbell is navigating a devastating loss.
The TikToker shared her daughter Elliana Rose has died at only 10 months old after battling junctional epidermolysis bullosa (JEB), a rare condition that causes fragile and blistering skin.
“Our sweet girl Elliana Rose lost her battle last night,” Hannah captioned the April 8 TikTok. “She passed peacefully, wrapped in love.”
She continued, “I don’t know what to do with myself today. I’m heartbroken, and I’m angry. No child should have to endure what she did. EB stole her from us. Let’s fight for a cure so no other family has to feel this.”
The accompanying video featured a sweet montage of moments throughout Elliana’s life, set to Benson Boone’s “In The Stars.”
Hannah concluded her post—which was soon filled with countless messages from those expressing their condolences—with gratitude for the support shown to her family throughout Elliana’s life.
According to the Mayo Clinic, JEB can cause blisters “in response to minor injury, even from heat, rubbing or scratching,” and can even cause blistering inside the body, such as in the “lining of the stomach or mouth.”
