The band also shared behind-the-scenes clips of them rehearsing ‘Heroes’ and Motorhead track ‘Ace of Spades’, before their gig in Tokyo, Japan, last night (15 September.)

Cooper is said to have originally formed Hollywood Vampires as a celebrity drinking club on Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip in the 1970s. Musicians including The Who’s Keith Moon and the Monkees’ Micky Dolenz are reported to have attended.

In 2015, Hollywood Vampires released a studio album, ‘Hollywood Vampires’. The output featured cameos from Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl and Christopher Lee.

This summer the band have played dates across the world, including stops in Paris, Rio and Frankfurt as well as dates in the UK.

Depp, who is set to revive his role as Grindelwald in the latest Fantastic Beasts film later this year, recently made a surprise appearance at San Diego’s Comic Con.

The star also recently opened up about his struggles with alcohol and depression after issues in his personal and professional life left him feeling “low.”

Depp went through a highly publicised divorce with ex-wife Amber Heard in 2016 and also found himself in the midst of a legal battle with his former management.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Depp said: “I was as low as I believe I could have gotten..the next step [for me] was, ‘You’re going to arrive somewhere with you eyes open and you’re going to leave there with your eyes closed. I couldn’t take the pain every day.”

“I poured myself vodka in the morning and started writing until the tears filled my eyes and I couldn’t see the page anymore,” Depp said, detailing how he wrote a diary to help him whilst on tour with the Hollywood Vampires.

He added: “I kept trying to figure out what I’d done to deserve this. I’d tried being kind to everyone. The truth is most important to me. And all this still happened.”
