Camp Bestival founders Rob and Josie Da Bank have announced that they are back at the helm of the family festival after reaching an agreement with promoters Live Nation and SJM Concerts.
The future of the Dorset festival, which launched in 2008, was cast into uncertainty last month after it was reported that the company behind the event faced administration.
Loans tycoon James Benamor filed the administration notices at the High Court after his own company, Richmond Group Debt Capital, extended a loan of up to £1.6m to the festival back in February of last year.
He also made a £1.1m offer to acquire the brand and assets of Bestival Group, with the aim of running Camp Bestival in the future.

But in a new development, it has been announced that the Da Banks are back in control after reaching an agreement with Live Nation and SJM.
“With the help of Live Nation Gaiety and SJM we will really be able to bring more of our creative vision to life with the support structure needed going forward”, a statement confirmed.
“Our aim has been and will always be to create the best ever family festival. We look forward to sharing this new chapter with you. More news very shortly.”
Rob Da Bank also tweeted to confirm that Camp Bestival was “1000% happening” in 2019 and it is “in much better shape”.
The future of Bestival, meanwhile, is yet to be confirmed.
