Stormzy, The Cure and The Killers to headline Glastonbury 2019 as full line-up is revealed

Huge…

Stormzy, The Cure and The Killers have been announced as the headliners for Glastonbury 2019, heading up a huge line-up on Worthy Farm.

The line-up was confirmed on Twitter this morning – with The Cure and The Killers revealed as the final Pyramid Stage headliners after Stormzy was confirmed in November 2018.

Stormzy will take top billing on the Pyramid Stage on Friday night, while The Killers and The Cure will follow with respective performances on the Saturday and Sunday night of the festival.

The first raft of acts also includes performances from Liam Gallagher, Janet Jackson, George Ezra, Miley Cyrus and Tame Impala.

While specific stage details are yet to be revealed, fans can also expect sets from The Chemical Brothers, Vampire Weekend, Lauryn Hill, Christine & The Queens, Two Door Cinema Club and Jorja Smith.

Also included on the bill is Janelle Monae, who was previously confirmed as the first West Holts Stage headliner, and Lizzo – who exclusively confirmed her set to NME.

All tickets are currently sold out, but a resale for unwanted tickets will take place on Sunday April 28.

Confirming their headline appearance at Glastonbury, which comes two years after a secret appearance in 2017, The Killers wrote: “Well folks, there ya have it. It’s true. Be with us.”

Away from the music at Glastonbury 2019, it was recently revealed that festival-goers can expect an “evolving show in the sky” to replace the iconic Arcadia Spider.

Staff at Arcadia say they are in the throes of working with “giant bits of machinery” as part of a new skyward spectacle that will replace the festival’s staple: a giant, fire-breathing mechanical spider.

A spokesman for Arcadia said: “Same field – new world! We are currently wrestling giant bits of machinery.”
