Jay-Z has officially been named Forbes‘ top-earning hip-hop artist of 2018!
The business magazine has revealed that the 48-year-old 4:44 rapper is worth a whopping $900 million with his net worth growing $90 million over the past year, beating out Sean “Diddy” Combs who has held the top spot for the past seven years.
The majority of Jay-Z increase comes in the rising values of his interests in Armand de Brignac champagne and D’Ussé cognac, as well as ownership stakes in Roc Nation and his Tidal music streaming service, Forbes reports.
Diddy is ranked second on the list with a net worth of $825 million, while Dr. Dre comes in third with an estimated net worth of $770 million.
