A new version of the ‘Thrill of It All’ track features a guest verse from the Maryland rapper
Sam Smith has shared a new version of his track ‘Pray’ featuring Logic.
The song itself is taken from Smith’s second album ‘The Thrill of It All’, which came out back in November.
Smith has teamed up with the Maryland rapper Logic for the new version of ‘Pray’, which follows the release of ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ and ‘One Last Song’ as singles from the singer’s latest LP.
The Logic-featuring version of ‘Pray’ is out now and can be streamed below via YouTube.
Speaking about the release of the single, Smith wrote on Twitter: “I am so excited for you to hear this new version of one of my favourite tracks on the album. It was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with Logic to create this, such an incredible artist.”
Back in November, Smith told NME that he had regrets over his Oscars acceptance speech in 2016, admitting “I messed up.”
“I actually meant to say Best Male Actor and I didn’t,” he said in reference to mistakenly claiming that he was the first openly gay man to win an Academy Award.
“I obviously did know that I wasn’t the first gay person to win an Oscar. I was gutted – there was 90 million people watching that show; I wanted to say something positive and I fucked up.”
