Iggy Azalea has tattooed the name of her never-released album on her fingers

The rapper also has her debut album name ‘The New Classic’ tattooed on her fingers

Iggy Azalea has tattooed the name of her never-released second album on her fingers.

Azalea released her debut album ‘The New Classic’ in 2014 and had planned to release her sophomore album, Digital Distortion, but it was later cancelled.

According to Spin, her management staged an intervention and the rapper agrred to spend time in therapy working on the anger issues that made her an infamously defensive public presence.

In a new interview with Billboard, Jason Lipshutz details how the singer has now had the album title tattooed on her fingers:

“She’s wearing a cropped black jacket over a printed tee and pink suede pants, and runs her right hand through her long, straight, taffy-colored hair. Her ring finger reads ‘Digital’ and her middle finger reads ‘Distortion,’ a tattoo dedicated to a planned sophomore album, Digital Distortion, that was never released.”

Azalea also has the name of her debut album tattooed on her fingers, pointing to a tradition for the rapper.

Meanwhile, Azalea shared a new song, ‘Savior’ back in February.

The track is the Australian rapper’s first since she shared four new songs for free via WeTransfer in November, and features a guest appearance from Migos‘ Quavo.

Speaking to iHeartRadio about the new song, Azalea said she had written it during a “really heavy period in my life where I’d had a lot of changes that had happened overnight.”

“I’d had a big breakup, and my career wasn’t going well,” she said. “And I sort of found myself in this space where everything that I was used to, just my day-to-day routine, had abruptly stopped.

“And I just didn’t know how to get my life back together, or what my life looked like with all of these changes, and how to get a routine going again, and just how to get my happiness back and feeling normal. So that was the space that I was in when I wrote this song.”
