Drake fans are jumping out of moving cars to ‘In My Feelings’

It’s called either the #kekechallenge or #DoTheShiggy

Drake fans have started a new viral video trend in which they jump out of moving cars to the tune of the rapper’s track ‘In My Feelings’.

The trend was started by American comedian Shiggy who posted a video of himself dancing to the chorus of the ‘Scorpion‘ track with the caption, “KEKE DO YOU LOVE ME?”

Shortly afterwards NFL player Odell Beckham Jr. posted his own video in which he jumps out of a (stationary) car to perform the dance, captioning it “Everybody get crazy wit it and hashtag #DoTheShiggy legggoo”

A host of celebrities then took up the viral craze, including Will Smith, Ciara, DJ Khaled and Charlamagne Tha God.

Some fans have decided to dangerously up the stakes by jumping out of their cars while they’re still moving. A number of clips have gone viral, including those below.

NME warns readers not to do this.

Drake himself even paid tribute to the dance during his secret Wireless Festival appearance.

‘In My Feelings’ was one of the six tracks he played during the short surprise set, a last-minute replacement for DJ Khaled who dropped out citing spurious ‘travel issues’. Read the NME review here.

It’s not the only Drake-related viral sensation in recent days. Last week, footage of the rapper bamboozled by UK magician Julius Dein’s lollipop-related trick set Twitter alight.

Meanwhile, rumour has it that Drake already has another album ready to release as soon as he signs his next record deal. A source told Variety that the star would put out another project when he announced his new label home.

‘Scorpion’ has broken several charts since its release, including being the first album to surpass 1 billion streams in a week. The previous record-holder on that front was Post Malone, who clocked up 700 million streams.
